As you’re looking at redoing areas of your home, you will want to be considering the color palette earlier in the process rather than later in the process.

So in the March issue of Colorado Homes & Lifestyles magazine, designers and editors share their thoughts on their favorite hues and how to pair colors and stains.
The magazine’s art director, Elaine St. Louis, advises: “The best way to step away from bland without getting too dramatic is with medium-value colors that are soft and easy to live with. Then once you get comfortable with color, you can have a little fun.”
